In Oxide: Survival Island, you find yourself stranded on an abandoned, remote island in the middle of nowhere, and must find a way to survive. Traverse an extensive map as you scavenge for various resources, and visit three biomes with distinct weather systems that will challenge you in different ways. Craft various tools from collected materials and construct a house to serve as a shelter and base.
There’s a cupboard system, wherein you need to stock up on wood to prevent your house from deteriorating. While exploring outside, there will be all sorts of dangers that lie ahead, so equip diverse weapons to defend yourself, while being wary of limited ammo if you fire it too often. All that said, the gameplay experience is rather erratic and inconsistent, with a lack of active players in some servers.
